Kristian Oma becomes new sports manager in Nent

Kristian Oma has been hired as sports director at Nordic Entertainment Groups (Nent), which has the Premier League rights from 2022.

Nent is a Swedish media company behind Viasat and Viaplay’s TV content in Norway. The company has the Premier League rights for six years from 2022, in addition to the German Bundesliga and the World Cup in alpine and Nordic branches from 2021.

Grandma becomes sports director in the Norwegian department of the company, and will join by October 1, Campaign reports. He has previously been a sports anchor in Eurosport and a reporter in TV 2 sports.

According to Campaign, the Nent group’s interim sports manager in Norway, Cecilia Gave, will continue in a new role in the company.
