The news of Kriss Hatta’s return to Christianity was welcomed by his mother, Ana.
In fact, the mother learned the news of her son’s return to Christianity from the priest she knew in the prison.
“The priest came home from Cipinang, immediately said to his aunt, he said, ‘There was Kriss, from there, Kriss went to church,” said Ana in South Jakarta, Saturday (25/12).
Kriss Hatta then replied that he did not know that the pastor who served the congregation in Cipinang had also met his mother in Bekasi.
“So that’s what mom usually worships in Bekasi, I didn’t know the pastor served the congregation in Cipinang, but I didn’t know it was your priest, it was just a coincidence,” said Kriss Hatta.
On the other hand, the actor admitted that his act of returning to Christianity was risky because he had previously embraced Islam.
Kriss Hatta even ready to be criticized by netizens regarding the decision.

The actor who was imprisoned did not even hesitate to reveal to the public that he was no longer a Muslim.
“Today I have started to open up on social media, starting to open up to friends too, with this coverage, right, one Indonesian should know that I’m back,” explained Kriss Hata.
