Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found no evidence when searching two locations regarding the alleged case bribery DG of Taxes in South Kalimantan (South Kalimantan), one of them at the office PT Jhonlin Baratama. The KPK ensures that it has worked in accordance with applicable legal procedures.
“We make sure that in investigating this case, the KPK investigating team has worked according to applicable procedures,” said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri ‘to reporters, Sunday (11/4/2021).
Ali explained that his party did not find any evidence from the search of the two locations. However, he did not want this leakage case to be debated further.
“That regarding the second search activity, we did not get the evidence we were looking for because it was suspected that certain parties had transferred it, we do not want to argue further about this at this time,” he said.
Ali emphasized NCP will not hesitate to ensnare anyone who obstructs an investigation under Article 21 of the Corruption Crime Law (Tipikor).
“In principle, anyone who deliberately blocks our investigation will not hesitate to apply the provisions of Article 21 of the Corruption Act. We remind the parties related to this case to be cooperative,” he said.
It is known that the KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas) also opened their votes. Chairman of the KPK Dewas Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean asked for information on the alleged information leak that had to be investigated.
“Yes, it must be investigated,” said Tumpak to reporters, Saturday (10/4).
Tumpak said initial information was needed regarding the alleged leak, including who had leaked it.
“But of course there needs to be preliminary information about who is leaking,” said Tumpak.
