Jakarta – KPK examined the Chairman of Commission VIII of the House of Representatives Yandri Susanto as a witness in the alleged case social assistance bribes Corona (COVID-19). The KPK asked Yandri about the alleged quota for the social assistance package given by the suspect Adi Wahyono (AW).
“In addition, the witness (Yandri) also confirmed the alleged social assistance package quota given by the suspect AW to the witness,” said Acting KPK spokesman, Ali Fikri, to reporters, Tuesday (30/3/2021).
In addition, the KPK explores the main duties of the Commission VIII DPR RI as a working partner of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos).
“Yandri Susanto deepened his knowledge, among others, related to the main duties of the Commission VIII DPR RI as a working partner of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, “said Ali.
Ali said that not all the results of the examination were submitted because witness Yandri’s full statement was found in the BAP (examination report). Later, all examination results will be disclosed in court.
“Of course we cannot convey the details of the examination material, because this witness ‘statement has been fully contained in the witness’ BAP,” he said.
“During the trial, of course all the results of this investigation will be opened in order to prove the indictment,” he continued.
Yandri examined as a witness for the suspect Matheus Joko Santoso. Matheus is the PPK at the Ministry of Social Affairs.
Apart from Matheus Joko, the KPK charged former Social Minister Juliari Batubara and three other people, namely Adi Wahyono, Ardian IM, and Harry Sidabukke as suspects.
Adi is the PPK at the Ministry of Social Affairs. Meanwhile, Ardian and Harry are private parties as vendors of the social assistance procurement. Harry Sidabukke and Ardian IM have already undergone a trial at the Corruption Court.
The KPK suspects Juliari to receive an allocation of Rp.10 thousand from each food package worth Rp. 300 thousand per package. In total, the KPK suspects Juliari Batubara to have received Rp. 8.2 billion and Rp. 8.8 billion.
