The man hit last Wednesday killing in Kongsberg. He broke into homes and a supermarket there and fired arrows at people.
Police said victims were found both inside and outside buildings. In addition to the five people who did not survive the attack, there are also three injured.

“Everything indicates that he randomly selected his victims,” said a police inspector. He said the perpetrator threw away or lost his bow and arrow at some point, without going into detail about what other weapons the man used to attack people.
The suspect, a man in his thirties from Denmark, was arrested after the massacre and has confessed. Authorities believed he had been radicalized, but now suspect his mental health issues led to the attack. A psychological examination must show whether he was accountable.
