As of: December 25, 2023 1:46 p.m

The Kölner Haie have extended the contract with striker Gregor MacLeod for another two years. The KEC announced this on Christmas Day (December 25, 2023).

The Canadian moved to the Haie from league rivals Nuremberg Ice Tigers for the current season. With seven goals and 22 assists, MacLeod is one of the top performers in the sixth place.

“We are very pleased that we were able to tie Gregor to us early on until 2026 and that he will continue to play for us in the coming years,” said Haie head coach Uwe Krupp: “Gregor has settled in with us this season without any start-up problems and how he has expected to quickly establish himself as a top performer in our team.”

Father coach of the DEB women

MacLeod moved to Germany three years ago, where he lived for several years during his childhood. His father Jeff MacLeod is the national coach of the German women’s team.
