Former Zenit striker Alexander Kerzhakov praised the game striker Alexander Kokorin, acting on loan at Sochi.
– I consider him the best striker of the country in terms of technical equipment and speed. This is the best player now. See how he played for Sochi. Against “Krasnodar”, for example, which claimed the championship.
Kokorin very easily dealt with the defense, using tricks that no one does with us, except, perhaps, Eremenko and Bakaev. Sasha does it easily and at speed. That’s what sets him apart from our other footballers.
– How did you perceive his departure from Zenit?
– I did not understand why. He clearly claimed to be the Zenit launch player. Everyone was delighted with his condition.
He missed so much, but he plays like that. This is the level of his talent, his mentality – he prepared himself. But, of course, this is the level of our championship, said Kerzhakov.
