Over The classic, Coach of Barcelona Ronald Koeman critical of Video Assistant Refere (WHERE). His comments are currently being investigated and Koeman is said to be facing a maximum penalty of 12 matches.

Barcelona lost 1-3 to Real Madrid in El Clasico which was held on 24 October. What made Koeman angry was the penalty for El Real.

The penalty was awarded after Clement Lenglet was deemed VAR to have knocked Sergio Ramos by pulling his shirt. Ramos took the penalty himself and scored the goal.

“I don’t understand the referee’s decision. VAR only comes when it comes to acting against Barcelona. Whoever told me it was a penalty is totally incomprehensible,” he said. Ronald Koeman at that time, as quoted by SPORT.

“I do not like it. I do not understand WHERE, all decisions are detrimental to Barca. Nothing was profitable and there were many examples, like the penalty for Messi against Sevilla, Getafe’s red card, then what happened today. “Pulls like that happen all the time in the area,” he added.

As a result of this, the US reported that the Competition Committee of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) is now investigating Ronald Komen’s comments about the VAR.
