Rapper Kodak Black (25) was arrested on Friday after being stopped at a traffic control in Florida.

The car, a purple Dodge Durango, was stopped when the police thought the windows were darker than allowed, writes CNN.
When he was stopped, a small bag of 31 oxycodone-type pills, a highly addictive opioid closely related to morphine and heroin, was found. A large amount of money was also found, around 750,000 Norwegian kroner, and the car’s legal registration had expired.
He was arrested for possession of a regulated drug without a prescription.
The rapper was taken to Broward County Jail, where he was still being held Saturday morning local time.
–The rapper’s real name is Bill Kahan Kapri. Earlier this year, he was involved in one shooting episode on the street in Los Angeles. Four people were injured, including the rapper himself.
He has also previously served a prison sentence for buying a weapon illegally, however was pardoned by then-President Donald Trump. The White House at the time described Kapri as a prominent artist and leader in the local community.
The rapper is known for songs such as “Tunnel Vision”, “Super Gremlin” and “Zeze”, the latter with artists Travis Scott and Offset. Kodak Black’s latest album “Back for Everything” debuted at number two on Billboard’s album chart.
Neither the police nor Kapri’s team have responded to inquiries for comment from Variety or CNN.
