Kochi: The World Heavyweight DJMC Series No. 7 Crown Middlemost Boxing Championship, featuring prominent boxing stars, will be held in Kochi in August. 10 title boxing matches including seven professional fights and three amateur fights will be held at Kadavantra Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium.
In a ceremony held in Kochi, DJMC Chairman and WBC Care Middle East and Sri Lanka Ambassador to the World Boxing Council Dunstan Paul Rosario announced the championship. WBC Women World Heavyweight Champion Hannah Gabriel, World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Agron Smakiki, Melbourne DJMC Series No.6 Boxing Champion and Title Boxing Club CEO KS. Vinod, Boxing Coach Green Donald, National Sports Mission Chairman Nedumonkav Gopalakrishnan, State President Shiju Mathew and others were present.
Joshmi, who is doing boxing training, was gifted boxing gloves by Hanna Gabriel and Titan Boxing Club Coach Shanavas, a student, as part of promoting boxing training among children.
