Vanessa Bryant showed on Instagram the tribute she paid to her husband, basketball star Kobe Bryant, and to her daughter Gianna, who died in a plane crash on January 26 in Calabasas (California, USA).
Kobe’s widow decided to tattoo messages that Kobe and Gianna had sent her in the past. Vanessa published a series of videos in which the tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado is doing the tattoos. The athlete’s widow now wears the Kobe text on her neck and on the inside of her wrist, a message from her daughter Gianna that accompanied her father on that flight. “I wanted Kobe’s sweet message from my ‘boo boo’ to be relayed to me,” Vanessa Bryant said alongside one of the videos on Instagram.
The death of five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven others in the helicopter crash prompted reactions from sports stars, celebrities and politicians around the world. Kobe’s widow decided to sue the company that owns the helicopter and claim the money that will not enter after the death of the NBA legend.
