On Saturday, the Norwegian gaming industry honored the best Norwegian games from last year during the award ceremony Spillprisen. This year, the annual award was held at Eldorado in Oslo, with seven winners in the various categories.
This year, as last year, a separate press jury has been behind the selection of the winners in the categories “Game of the Year”, “Game of the Year – small screen” and “Best fun for everyone”. The rest of the winners are decided by a professional jury consisting of industry representatives.

It was the rhythm action game Klang 2 from Tinimations that walked away with the award for “Game of the Year” this year. In Klang 2, you have to saber down piles of evil creatures that come towards the player. Here you have to press buttons in time with the music to overcome the storm of enemies.
Klang 2 is available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 5.
In addition, Klang 2 quickly won the award for “Game of the Year – small screen”, and thus became one of three games that each secured two awards this year.
Sunlight received two awards.

Sunlight from Krillbite won “Best Sound” and “Best Visual Expression”, while Bonkies from Studio Gauntlet won “Best Game Design” and “Best Fun for Everyone”.
Otherwise, Dwarfheim from Pineleaf Studios won the award for “Best Technology”, after that The studio went bankrupt earlier this year.
