KOMPAS.com – A number of buildings in Dambet Village, District Lively, Puncak Regency, Papua, allegedly burned armed criminal group (KKB) on Saturday (17/4/2021) morning.

Head of the Beoga Sector Police (Kapolsek) Ipda Ali Akbar said the KKB burned the Dambet Elementary School (SD) building.

In addition, several houses belonging to the chief of the Ener Tinal tribe and several official houses were not spared from the action burning.

“It is true, there was an arson against the KKB, but there were no casualties,” he said when contacted by Kompas.com, Saturday.

They allegedly shot two teachers, namely Oktovianus Rayo (teacher at SD Inpres Beoga) and Yonathan Randen (teacher at SMP Negeri 1 Beoga).
