Kiril Petkov: We don’t like Radev’s comments – Bulgaria

“Bulgaria is a parliamentary republic. If the laws are followed as a parliamentary republic, there is never any risk of impeachment.”

This was stated in “Panorama” by BNT the leader of “We continue the change” Kiril Petkov, commenting on the idea of impeachment of the President Rumen Radev.

“If anyone allowed themselves to break laws or decisions of Parliament, it would lead to such a risk. We don’t like his comments in Brussels, we follow his actions,” said Petkov.

He pointed out that “We continue the change” will fight for a 100% working, democratic pro-European government that will unite the causes of all Bulgarians.

“It will say that as long as we have wasted historical time, it is time for Bulgaria to take the next step,” said Petkov and expressed support for the bill proposed by Justice Minister Krum Zarkov, which he defined as fundamental to the fight against corruption.

Zarkov on the sanctions against Great Britain and the “Magnitsky” list: There is no time to wait

“Bulgaria is neither small nor weak, the fate of the country depends on all of us. The time has come to be apart, we must all come together. From now on, we join hands and change Bulgaria,” said Petkov and predicted: “We will be more than 130 deputies in the next parliament.”

According to him, the USA saw that 600 million BGN went into the pockets of the gambling bosses.

Regarding the “Magnitsky” sanctions, Petkov added that they showed the need for justice reform, since now the judicial system does not work in the interest of society.

BSP: We are reporting to the prosecutor’s office for deliberate interference in the elections

“Bulgarian society can no longer wait for a savior, 50 civil organizations have declared that they stand behind us,” Petkov believes.

“We made a lot of mistakes, but we didn’t make a single mistake on purpose, Petkov said. He pointed out that they increased pensions 3 times without raising taxes, and at the same time there is no deficit in the budget”, Petkov pointed out and added that some budget surpluses at the end of the year did not go to 5-6 companies this time, but were given to pensioners.

“There is a potential, if we clean up corruption, that these funds will go to the people,” Kiril Petkov also said.
