King and Queen of Spain Visit Fire-Affected Arafo Cultural and Leisure Center

The King and Queen of Spain attended a new event today.

Queen Letizia and King Felipe VI met with representatives of the sectors affected by the fire at the Arafo Cultural and Leisure Center, in Cruz de Tenerife.

The purpose of the trip was to learn about the consequences of the forest fire that has devastated the island since mid-August and affected more than 14,000 hectares of territory along a 90-kilometer perimeter in 12 municipalities.

The Queen wore a black pullover, gray check dress trousers, black leather flats and a light gray trench coat. Her long hair was loose, she had light makeup on her face, and hoop earrings in her ears.

King Philip VI also looked stylish in a dark blue check jacket and light blue shirt.

We previously showed you photos of how Letizia and Crown Prince Felipe met at the Prince of Asturias ceremony in 2003, and a week later they announced their engagement to the world.
