The prosecution is known to have identified another person suspected of aiding former Star Mobility chairman (pictured) Kim Bong-hyun (pictured), the “Jeonju of Lime Asset Management”, and conducted an investigation forced. The prosecution is known not to find any clear leads until the 20th, although it tracked former President Kim’s whereabouts for 10 days after he turned off the tracking device and fled on the 11th.
According to the legal community on the 20th, the Seoul South District Prosecutor’s Office conducted a search and seizure of the residence of Mr. A, an entertainment agency official, on the 17th and secured Mr. A. Former President Kim fled in December 2019 before an arrest warrant review and was arrested by police in April 2020, five months later, at a villa in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. Mr. A is the person who booked a hotel room in Gangnam, Seoul, where former President Kim has been hiding for a month. Prosecutors also suspect that Mr A helped former President Kim escape.
