In deepfake videos, algorithms manipulate image and sound. For example, it is possible that the face of an actor is confused with the face of a world leader, celebrity or – as in this case – a victim of a crime. Also, the voice of the person in the deepfake video can be imitated or manipulated by a smart algorithm.
