Beerschot is in the running for promotion to the Jupiler Pro League and that is a huge concern among the fans. The Mannekes play one more time at home, on the final match day, and that match is already completely sold out. With the exception of one grandstand, the closed T2.

On Friday April 19, Beerschot will receive a visit from Patro Eisden in the Olympic Stadium. It is the next home match of the Kielse Ratten, because in the next two matches they will travel to KV Oostende and SK Beveren.

It is unclear exactly what is (still) at stake. What is certain is that there is great enthusiasm among the fans to be there for that last home match. The number 13 announced on Friday morning that the Olympic Stadium is already sold out.

And yet there is still room at Kiel, because Beerschot is looking at the options to open up the closed Tribune 2, behind the goal next to the visiting fans. “This requires additional stewards and safety personnel. The club is doing everything it can to provide this and still open grandstand 2.”

For the time being, the counter stands at around 10,000 home fans. About 2,000 more could be added when Grandstand 2 opens.
