Kia Ceed enters the market after a facelift. The price tag will still fit under CZK 400,000

The modernized Kia Ceed, with its hatchback, station wagon and sports station wagon bodies, received a higher price tag in addition to new logos and a more aggressive-looking bow.

While the Kia Ceed hatchback in the version before the facelift started in the country at a price of CZK 374,980, it is now twenty thousand crowns more expensive. The equipment and input motorization are the same as before. The only new feature is the on-board computer with a 4.2-inch display. Otherwise, customers will receive, for example, manual air conditioning, metal wheels, radio and cruise control for the entry price.

Kia decided not to limit the number of trim levels, quite the opposite. Three body versions – hatchback, station wagon and ProCeed sports station wagon are available in six trim levels.

The lowest price of the station wagon version is CZK 419,980.

The cheapest engine is a liter-supercharged three-cylinder in two power levels (74 or 88 kW). The higher Fresh version, which starts with the hatchback at 404,980 crowns and the Sportswagon version at 429,980 crowns, will also be available with the new 160 hp 1.5 T-GDi GPF powertrain, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission. 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Fresh version offers, for example, front fog lights and rear parking sensors, as well as higher equipment personalization options.

At the top is the design version of the GT Line, available from 589,980 crowns and the sports version of the GT for 749,980 crowns. Together with the TOP version, both offer a range of features and functions that are new to the Ceed. Whether it’s active safety features such as a warning of an oncoming vehicle in the transverse direction with the possibility of intervention in the steering (RCCA), blind spot monitoring system with rear collision avoidance assistant (BCA-R) or highway driving assistant (HDA). While in the GT version these elements are part of the equipment, in the other two versions customers can order them through optional packages.

The body version of the Sportswagon is also available as a Plug-In Hybrid with a 1.6 GDi engine with a maximum output of 141 hp and a city range of up to 57 km on a single charge. In the Premium trim level, which corresponds to the equipment in the GT version, it is available for 909,980.

The stylish ProCeed shooting brake is available with two engines and two equipment. The design version of the GT Line in combination with the 1.5 T-GDi GPF 160 hp engine can be purchased from CZK 649,980. The sporty GT version with a 1.6 T-GDi engine and automatic transmission is then available for 804,980 crowns.
