The news of a novelty called KFConsole comes shortly before Christmas Day. At a time when competing Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 gaming systems are hopelessly sold out for months to come.

Many players would think that KFC is making fun of the unfortunate situation on the market and that it is simply a pre-Christmas joke. However, the reality is completely different – the fast food chain is obviously serious and wants to combine gaming fun with its own business.

KFConsole is supposed to be a thoroughbred game system, but it will also offer a special drawer for placing food. The proposal envisages that players will store purchased chicken pieces in it so that they do not cool down while playing.

Sufficient heating of such delicacies should be ensured by the waste heat generated by the operation of the powerful components inside. In this way, of course, other dishes will be kept warm, not just chicken pieces.

In addition, the entire system is designed so that the operation of the hardware components of the entire machine is not endangered in any way. These are separated at the bottom of the game system. But we will have to wait for more information, hardware parameters have not been announced yet.

Of course, it may turn out that it was a successful joke, but currently everything indicates that KFConsole is already ready for series production. It should appear in sales within the next year. A question mark hangs over a possible purchase price.
