Logitech today launched its new Slim Folio Pro, a combination of protective case and keyboard for the new iPad Pro. The accessory fits specifically on the iPad Pro with 12.9 inches of the third and fourth generation and in a second variant on the iPad Pro with 11 inches of the first and second generation.
The Slim Folio Pro connects to the tablet via Bluetooth LE. Logitech integrates backlighting for the keyboard and uses scissor switches. There are also several shortcut buttons to control the volume and brightness, for example. If you want to draw on the iPad Pro with the pencil, you can simply flip the keyboard over. The Slim Folio Pro including the iPad Pro can be magnetically closed for transport.
The keyboard should last about three months on one charge if you use it about two hours a day. In the United States, the new version of the Logitech Slim Folio Pro for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro costs $ 129.99. The variant for the 11-inch models is a little cheaper at $ 119.99. Both variants should be available in US trade from April 2020. For Germany, prices of EUR 119.99 and EUR 139.99 are expected, because that is how much the previous version costswhich can already be ordered.
Not quite as exciting, but presented in the same breath: With the Pebble i345, Logitech is also launching a small Bluetooth mouse for $ 29.99 for all iPad models. It should also be available from April 2020.
