“Kenyan Pastor Arrested for Mass Killings of Followers in Heretical Sect: Latest Updates”

A famous priest in Kenya arrested and tried on charges’mass killings‘ towards his followers. The arrests were made days after the discovery of dozens of bodies in related mass graves heretical sect another church in Kenya, which sued his followers are starving to go to heaven.

As reported AFPFriday (28/4/2023), the famous pastor named Ezekiel Odero who leads the Prayer Center and New Life Church was arrested by the Kenyan authorities regarding the alleged death of his followers.

“He (Odero-ed) has been arrested and is being processed to face criminal charges related to the mass killing of his followers,” Kenya’s Minister of Home Affairs (Minister of Home Affairs) Kithure Kindiki said in a statement.

“The church has been closed. More than 103 people hiding in the premises have been evacuated and will be asked to make statements,” he added.

Odero’s arrest coincides with an investigation into Paul Mackenzie Nthenge, a cult leader accused of killing more than 100 people, mostly children, in a forest near the coastal city of Malindi.

Nthenge, a former taxi driver, allegedly told followers in a church called the Good News International Church that hunger gives way to God.

The horrific find has shocked the Kenyan public, whose majority population adheres to Christianity. The latest reports by local Kenyan media, citing police sources, said another 11 bodies had been recovered from a mass grave on Thursday (27/4) local time. With that addition, so far a total of 109 people have died related to this heretical sect.

Kenyan police have not confirmed any link between the two separate cases, which both happen to involve religious leaders.
