After going into exile the day before in the covered hall of the training center, the Racing players returned to their training grounds this Thursday morning. Of the seven absent during the collective session on Wednesday, only Mohamed Simakan – recovering from his left knee arthroscopy – and Kenny Lala did not appear on the meadow.
The right-back, the only Racingman who took part in all Ligue 1 meetings this season, remained in care. “He took a hit in the heel against Dijon,” said Kader Mangane, the sports coordinator of Racing. During an exercise without a goalkeeper, it was Anthony Caci who evolved in his post this Thursday.
Spared the day before, Ibrahima Sissoko participated without apparent concern in the collective training. Habib Diallo, Idriss Saadi and Ismail Aaneba, also absent on Wednesday, were entitled to a re-athletic session with Lebo Mothiba.
Opposition against the reservation
The day’s session ended with a 30-minute opposition against a team made up of players from the training center (mainly those from François Keller’s reserve).
In Thierry Laurey’s team – whose goal was guarded by Matz Sels (Bingourou Kamara protected the other) -, were concerned the players who did not start in Dijon (Lionel Carole, Lamine Koné, Jeanricner Bellegarde, Dimitri Liénard, Kévin Zohi) and those lacking playing time (Mahamé Siby, Sanjin Prcic, Adrien Lebeau, Majeed Waris). Abdoulaye Ousmane played right side with the pros. Halfway through the opposition, Marvin Senaya replaced Bellegarde numerically, who has a longer playing time in the league (17 starts).
The opposition was concluded with a goal from Carole, who went to deceive Kamara at the limit of offside.
