Keke Palmer has filed for a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson. She also wants full custody of their less than one-year-old son. The actress and singer says she is a victim of domestic violence.
The actress, known from the films Nope in Hustlerssays he was physically and emotionally abused by Jackson several times over a two-year period, reports US Weekly. She ended the relationship in October.
Thirty-year-old Palmer has security camera images that allegedly show her ex barging into her home uninvited earlier this month. He allegedly hit her, threw her over the couch and ran off with her phone when she tried to call the police.
According to the actress, the incident of which she has images is part of a pattern that has been going on for some time. She says Jackson regularly destroyed her belongings and hit her in front of their eight-month-old son. Palmer has also submitted CCTV footage of another incident.
Jackson was controversial last summer when he publicly criticized his then girlfriend’s choice of clothing during a performance. He wrote to X that what she was wearing was inappropriate for a mother.
