In the accompanying video clip, we see Katy getting out and about with Pikachu – no coincidence an electric Pokémon. “I’ve been a fan of Pokémon since I was little,” said the singer. “I used to play the games on my Game Boy, but I still love them today.” Her song will soon be featured on the compilation album ‘Pokémon: The Album’, a record written especially for Pokémon’s 25th anniversary. “In the video clip, I look back on my life with my Pikachu,” she explains. “From my first performance at a flea market to my first performance in a club!” Whether Pikachu was involved in real life is doubtful, but of course it remains fun to see.
