Three years after their divorce, they also starred together in the comedy Blind Date and celebrated every holiday together. ‘I find it very precious that we are so good together. According to Katja, they had a very good and deep friendship at the time. ‘Not a mere imitation of the past, something new has emerged. And this is very stable.’ […] Thijs, with whom Katja has daughter Sammie (12), was also at her wedding to Freek van Noortwijk, with whom she has daughter Coco (2). The two are now divorced, but little is left of Katja and Thijs’ friendship. Since it became known that three women reported Thijs for transgressive behavior, Katja seems to want nothing more to do with him.
Throw away the wedding dress
The fact that Katja really wants nothing more to do with Thijs became apparent recently when she took her wedding dress out of the attic. In the Schuurman & Spigt clean up podcast you can see how Frédérique Spigt (65) arrives at Katja’s house on her farm and they decide to clean the attic together. In addition to a song installation from the early 1990s, Katja also sees her wedding dress. And to her horror, it’s all the feces on it. “Oh no,” Katja exclaims on the podcast. “She Was in a plastic bag, but all the mice ate it. How gross is this. That wedding dress really needs to go.’
