Production controller Rajan Poojapura talks about the fight between Mammootty and Kamal during the dubbing of the film. He shared his old memories in an interview given to Master Bin Channel.
‘Once, while narrating a scene, Mammooka made a suggestion. Kamal sir did not like that. Kamal sir said that if you want to act, just listen to me and act. Pulli got moody after hearing that. Then naturally moved forward as a director and actor.
The dubbing came during the milking of Mammooka’s house. Mammooka was asked if she could come for dubbing on the eve of Pal Kachal. Mammooka said that it is enough after milking, or the next evening. I said that the next evening is not the time when people come home, I will get free tomorrow, there is no theater for dubbing the next day.
Mammooka came and asked the sound engineer if I have a theater to dub for an hour. He said if you took an hour or a day. I was asked if it was you who said that there was no theatre. Kamal sir came after hearing this. Raja said if you can’t do it then let it go.
