Chennai: Indian 2 is a movie directed by Shankar starring Kamal Haasan. It is the second part of Kamal Haasan’s hit movie Indian. The film is currently being shot at Dutch Fort in Chaturangapatnam near Kalpakkam in Chengalpattu district of Tamil Nadu. The news is that locals besieged the location where the shooting was taking place and a clash ensued. The clash was triggered by the arrival of some villagers in the area demanding donations to the temple near the location.

An altercation broke out between the film crew and the locals after the locals were prevented from entering the location. Later, the locals who returned from there came in a large group and tried to block the entrance of the Dutch fort where the shooting was going on. On getting the information, the police talked to the villagers and the filmmakers and dispersed both groups.

A very important action scene in the film is shot at the Dutch Fort in Chaturangapatnam. This includes Hollywood stunt artists. Kamal Haasan is acting in this action scene after receiving special training from them.
It is reported that Indian 2 will release on the coming Diwali. The last schedule of Indian 2 is going on now. Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha and Samudratkani are the other main stars of the film. There were earlier reports that there are seven villains in the film. The film is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. Anirudh is directing the music.
