Heavy rains fell on the cities and villages of the governorate Kafr El-Sheikh Equipment was deployed by the city councils of Baltim, Baltim Summer Resort, Burullus, Qalin, Sidi Salem, and Motobas, to remove rainwater from the streets, under the directives of Major General Gamal Nour El-Din, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh.

He directed city leaders to be fully prepared to confront the falling rain and to remove it as soon as possible, in addition to a constant presence in the streets, calling on citizens not to approach lighting poles, out of concern for their safety.

Major General Gamal Nour El-Din, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, called on city leaders to ensure the maintenance of rain filters, quickly complete the maintenance of dilapidated lighting poles, cover sewage drains, canals and drains that have been covered, inventory all sweeping vehicles and cleaning equipment in the centers and cities of the governorate, and ensure their suitability. Use it to lift and sweep away water from the streets that may result from rainfall.

The Meteorological Authority announced the proliferation of low, medium, and cumulus rain clouds over various areas of Greater Cairo, the south and central Delta, and northern Upper Egypt, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity, sometimes thunderous. It is expected that the rain clouds will extend to areas of the canal cities, central Sinai, and the eastern coasts as time progresses. These weather conditions will continue until the end of the day, and today the opportunity is ripe for light rain and thunderstorms to fall on the southern Red Sea mountain ranges and southern Upper Egypt.

The northern coasts include: (Matrouh – Alexandria – Damietta – Port Said – Al-Arish – Rafah), and Lower Egypt: – (Beheira – Kafr El-Sheikh – Gharbia – Dakahlia – Menoufia – Sharqia), Greater Cairo: – (Qalyubia – Cairo – Giza), cities The Canal: (Suez – Ismailia – Port Said), North Upper Egypt (Fayoum – Minya – Beni Suef – Assiut – Sohag), and South Upper Egypt (Qena – Luxor – Aswan – Abu Simbel).
