The Italian football club Juventus Turin will not be punished in the case of Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez.
The first part of the investigation showed that Juventus did not commit fraud and forgery of documents in order to allow the player to obtain Italian citizenship. The Football Italia portal informed about it.
Last year, Suarez wanted to transfer from FC Barcelona to Juventus and underwent a language test in Perugia in September. However, it became clear that the test topics had been agreed with the candidate and the evaluation was known before the test.
The school rector and the responsible teacher faced the prosecution for fraud and forgery of documents. The prosecutor in Perugia began the prosecution, with the then Juventus sports director Fabio Paratici among the suspects.
