Juventus earns 7 million player with 13 minutes on his …

Italian midfielder Simone Muratore switches from champion Juventus to Atalanta. Both clubs announced this on Monday. The transfer involves a transfer fee of 7 million euros.

Muratore, 22, did not get many playing opportunities this season from Juve coach Sarri. He was mainly working for the U23 and was only allowed to substitute twice for the A-team, in the Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen in December and (last week) in the league against Lecce. Good for a total of 13 minutes for the Old Lady.

Atalanta, Timothy Castagne’s team, describes Muratore as “a very flexible and tactically intelligent midfielder, with a strong physical and good overview”.

Club icons Buffon and Chiellini extend contract

Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini both extended their contracts with Juventus by one year, until June 2021, the Italian champion announced Monday.

Goalkeeper Buffon (42) and defender Chiellini (35) are two living legends with the Old Lady. “Bianconeri since the beginning. Bianconeri forever. And to confirm that, if necessary, their contract renewal is now official, until 2021! ”Juventus says.

Buffon has been playing for Juventus since 2001, except for one season at PSG (2018-2019). He is second choice this season after Wojciech Szczesny, but played all duels in the Coppa Italia (up to and including the lost final against Napoli). In the Serie A (7) and Champions League (1) he was much less active.

Chiellini has been with Juventus since 2005. The central defender, in principle the captain, saw this season almost completely fall into the water due to a cruciate ligament injury.
