In this year’s jungle camp, she fought for victory, now she is facing marriage: Jolina Mennen and her husband Florian have separated after a 13-year relationship. The 30-year-old announced this in a post on Instagram. “First and foremost, I want to say thank you,” she writes there. “I’m grateful for all the beautiful moments I was able to experience with you by my side, and that includes the challenging times in which we surpassed ourselves together.”
No bad blood
“I can tell you that Florian and I are fine,” she continues. There is no bad blood: “Nothing and nobody will ever come between us, because even if we are no longer a couple, we are a unit in friendship.” Florian himself did not publicly comment on the separation, but responded to the post with a white heart emoji.
When the two became a couple, Jolina was still living as a man – including at her first wedding in 2013. Between 2017 and 2019, Jolina underwent a total of three gender reassignment surgeries. In 2019 she married her Florian a second time.
