Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vasquez, better known as Juanes, was born in Colombia, in the state of Antioquia, on August 9, 1972. He has been awarded 26 Latin Grammys throughout his career and has sold more than 16 million albums worldwide.
At age 15 he began his career in a metal band, called Ekhymosis, with which published six albums achieving good recognition in the rock scene of his native country.
In 1998 Juan Esteban moved to live in Los Angeles. His stay in this North American city serves as inspiration and becomes the theme of his first solo album, released in 2000, Pay attention, achieving good concepts from specialized critics; in 2004 he released the album My blood, it converts into international bestseller.
His name began to gain popularity in the various countries of the world, especially the Spanish-speaking ones.. At the end of 2007, it launched Life … Is A Rat, was very successful. In 2010 public P.A.R.C.E., considered one of his most intimate albums. We must indicate that his music was very popular with young people. In 2012 he published the album Juanes MTV Unplugged which included three songs: “Everything In My Life You Are”, “The Signal” and “Azul Sabina”. In 2014 he released his most recent album Crazy of love.
