JPMorgan Chase intends to finance Serie A with an amount of between 700 million and 1 billion euros, sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.
The sources confirmed that there is initial interest from “JPMorganSupporting the development of the media business of the Italian League.
Note that “JP Morgan” is competing with many investment funds that want to partner with the Italian league, as the Serie A league is preparing to hold a bidding contract to sell its domestic and international broadcasting licenses for the post-2024 seasons.
The sources also mentioned that Apollo Global Management also made an offer to finance the league, without providing further details.
