The new season of The smartest person starts in two weeks with former parliamentary journalist Ron Fresen, Paralympic champion Marlou van Rhijn and actress Anniek Pheifer as candidates. Broadcaster KRO-NCRV announced it on Monday.
Son Mieux singer Camiel Meiresonne, YouTuber Quinty Misiedjan, journalist Tim de Wit, actress Janke Dekker and presenter Paula Udondek also make an appearance in the 21st series of the popular quiz show.
Even Erik Van Looy, the presenter of the Flemish version of The smartest personmakes his debut as a candidate.
The smartest person can first be seen on NPO1 this time around. The program is on television only four instead of five days a week. The previous series was won by comedian Jasper van Kuijk.
