Joshua was an enthusiastic candidate, but he also left every opportunity to make himself a suspect. This is also the case in the second episode during the assignment ‘To lead around the garden’. To carry out the assignment, the candidates were divided into three teams. Two of them were given a tour and had to capture as much as possible on film, with photo and in text. Meanwhile, as a third team, Joshua and Lakshmi are given a secret mission from a ‘control room’: to ensure that the photographer and the writer of their group carry out secret assignments during the tour without the cameraman or woman noticing.
Every assignment that is done well will bring in money in the pot. But at the end of the tour, can the cameraman / woman name two of those secret assignments? Then no money is earned and he or she even gets a joker. It is therefore important that the assignments remain secret, but halfway through the game Joshua suddenly finds out that he has changed the two-way radios and that he has not been against it all this time ‘shadow teamCharlotte and Rocky have been talking, but to cameraman Florentijn!

“I have a bit of a walk Moles, but you will be surprised how often I was just completely absorbed in the game and did stupid things”, he says in the Who is the mole?podcast. Yet that was not the case in the assignment with the walkie-talkies, he says: “I actually saw that very quickly, but I thought: I will just continue like this. (…) In principle it was a mistake, but I just continued it. ” He also sincerely forgot about Lakshmi during the assignment ‘Fotogenie (k)’. “I still had a few minutes, but I forgot her,” he confesses. “I was just playing with it a little bit.”
And all to make himself a suspect. Still, it wasn’t enough to mislead everyone else, because after the test in episode five, he had to pack his bags. In the video below he looks back on his participation.
