Jort Kelder (NPO) does not understand that Renske Leijten (SP) is committed to democracy: ‘Don’t be so complicated!’

NPO presenter Jort Kelder made it clear in his radio show today that he is a loyal ally of the party cartel. Because when SP Member of Parliament Renske Leijten called in to say that she finds it unacceptable that the cabinet violates the constitution, he responded with: ‘Don’t be so complicated.’ How wonderful that we have these kind of ‘journalists’ in the Netherlands.

SPs Renske Leijten was allowed to stop by today on the radio program of Jort Kelder. At the NPO, of course. Leijten says he is committed to “democracy” and the “trias politica,” or the separation of powers, with heart and soul. Now she does that mainly because there is no Marxist government yet, because if there is, she will welcome a dictatorship, but still. She is indeed one of the few MPs which performs its task as government auditor seriously.

She therefore finds it unacceptable that the cabinet has chosen to include 3 MPs in the outgoing Rutte III cabinet. This, she says, is against the Constitution. And therefore unacceptable.

In a normal world, a journalist would agree and put the government to the test. Unfortunately, we don’t live in such a “normal world.” Because Kelder’s response was that Leijten shouldn’t act like that. This is also possible in other countries. So why wouldn’t that be the case in the Netherlands? Constitution, Schmondwet!

“Those three MPs… yes, you can also say: ‘Don’t be so complicated, this is now the case’,” said Rutte boyfriend Kelder. “Get a government in place soon and then… is it very principled, yes?”

Yes, of course it is principled. That’s called the Constitution Jort. You don’t have to mess with that. Point. Never. Not now. Never ever.

Leijten also explained that. But Kelder then went against it again. Because he knows much better. In England it is quite normal that cabinet members also have a seat in parliament. “So that could be. So we could do that.”

Yes, Jort. Alone so is there the Constitution that does not have a monistic system but a dualistic system?. Is it really that hard to comprehend that? The answer to that is: no. But Kelder is a pull doll by Mark Rutte. And so he wants to justify everything the government does. Including flouting the Constitution.

It’s really unbelievable. Nowadays a MP like Renske Leijten has to explain to a so-called journalist like Jort Kelder that the Constitution must be respected.

We live in absurd times.
