East Rutherford (USA), Dec 18 (EFE) .- Daniel Jones, quarterback for the New York Giants, is on the questionable list for Sunday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns, due to injuries to the ankle and thigh tendon.
The team reported that Colt McCoy will start if the Giants decide that Jones is not close enough to 100 percent of his physical ability.
McCoy started with a win over the Seattle Seahawks two weeks ago when Jones was out with a thigh tendon injury.
McCoy had a heavier workload in practice this week, including Friday when he took the first serve with the starters on offense. That is generally an indication of who starts that week’s game.
The Giants did not practice Thursday after offensive coordinator Jason Garrett tested positive for the coronavirus.
They also placed cornerback James Bradberry on the reserve / COVID-19 list after he was deemed a high-risk close contact with a chiropractor who had tested positive.
