The municipality of Joliette announced Tuesday that Me Anaïs Baril will hold the position of Director of the Registry and Legal Affairs, a position she has held on an interim basis since February.
According to the mayor of Joliette, Mr. Pierre-Luc Bellerose, the member of the Barreau du Québec since 2020 has particularly distinguished herself by her spirit of analysis and synthesis.
In addition, the magistrate mentioned that the new director’s knowledge, understanding of the legal aspects of the municipal world, her leadership and her collaborative spirit will help achieve the objectives set by the municipality.
This news continues an association between the two parties that began in August 2020 when Ms. Baril joined the ranks of the City of Joliette as a legal advisor.
