KOMPAS.com – Head of Information for Kogabwilhan III, Colonel Czi IGN Suriastawa, said that the action carried out by Pratu Lucky Y Matuan (Lukius) who joined the armed criminal group (KKB) in Papua was a betrayal of the state.

For that, the security apparatus has now decided Soldier Lucius as the main target.

“Moreover, he defected to the OPM group, it was against the state, the punishment was heavy. He was the main target,” said Suriastawa when contacted by telephone, Friday (16/4/2021).

Assistant Operations for Kogabwilhan III, Brigadier General Suswatyo, said the security forces would take firm action if they met with the former soldiers.

“They have joined there. If they meet, they will be strictly dealt with because he is already an extremist group,” said Suswatyo.

He hoped that Pratu Lukius’ joining the KKB would not increase the group’s strength.

“Hopefully there will be no disturbance to the community whatsoever,” he said.

Previously it was reported, Assistant Operations for Kogabwilhan III, Brigadier General Suswatyo, confirmed that a TNI soldier named Pratu Lucky Y Matuan or Lukius joined the KKB.

Pratu Lukius is a Raider 400 personnel.

“Pratu Lukius, he wandered yuda (left duty) to join the KKB in Intan Jaya,” said Suswatyo when contacted by telephone, Friday (16/4/2021).
