Johan Derksen has in Inside Todayaired Wednesday on Baudet that “they must liquidate that boy”. Subsequently, Derksen reinstated his statement and said he meant that “they should kick Baudet out of the House for persistent misconduct.”
Derksen said the words in the introduction to the program. He thus replied to the accident during the General Political Reflections on Wednesday evening. The debate was suspended by the House Speaker because Baudet shared conspiracy theories about Kaag and his studies at Oxford University.

Presenter Wilfred Genee said immediately after Derksen’s comment: “Can it still be cut?” Later in the broadcast, Genee mentioned that Baudet had shared the Derksen fragment.

Baudet shared numerous angry messages on Twitter Wednesday night from people perceiving Derksen’s comment as a death threat. They made a confrontation with Pim Fortuyn, who was shot dead on May 6, 2002.

The Forum for Democracy announced Wednesday that it is preparing a statement against Derksen. “Johan Derksen calls live on television for the liquidation (!) Of Thierry Baudet and presenter Wilfred Genee laughs happily. This cannot and should not remain without consequences,” the party wrote in a Twitter message Wednesday.

Baudet previously said he was considering filing a complaint because of the behavior of “Sigrid Kaag’s supporters”. “Words matter,” writes the leader of the FVD.
