Johan Derksen can be heard on Radio Veronica as of August 15 with his own radio program Music for Adults† The program can be heard Monday through Friday from 11 p.m. to midnight.
Derksen said in Monday Show news already that he “is going to do something national” on the radio. According to him, it will not be a “nostalgic” program.
“Every day beautiful music comes out that you never hear on the radio. It will be a mix of blues, americana, soul, country, gospel and rock. Station director Rob Stenders says he didn’t have to think twice when Derksen asked if Radio Veronica had room for a program “with The Teskey Brothers, Bob Dylan, The Band, The Stones, Chris Stapleton and Otis Redding”. “That will be a nice trip for the music lover.”
Derksen presented his radio program Music for Adults on Radio West for many years. That stopped the collaboration with the presenter as a result of his statements in his program Today Inside in april.
Derksen was discredited at the end of April when he told that in the 1970s he had penetrated a drink-conscious woman with a candle.
Many changes at radio stations Talpa Network
Talpa Network is currently making many changes to its two stations, Radio Veronica and Radio 538 Frank Dane presenting the afternoon show on Radio 538 from Monday 29 August as successor to Coen Swijnenberg and Sander Lantinga. That made recently announced that they had to stop their daily show on the channel.
Lantinga stays with Swijnenberg on Friday The Coen and Sander Show but also gets an afternoon show on Radio Veronica from Monday to Thursday.
