That’s how the idea and collaboration with Manfred May, an old friend from Munich, came about. May runs a traditional costume shop there. For the equivalent of around 74,000 francs, he purchased traditional costume this year. But due to the canceled Oktoberfest, the material is now not processed into dirndls, but into face masks. “And we are now selling them in Switzerland,” says Heindle proudly. He takes care of sales, Ramona has the complete Webshop built up. “I have no idea about hens and bubbles,” the singer admits.

Joey Heindle thinks that white surgical masks are scary to death
The couple have now sold almost 300 masks. And which ones are particularly popular? “The Swiss are more reluctant to choose a pattern. While the Bavarians love colored and colorful floral patterns, the soft brown, beige, pink, gray or blue tones are well received here, »says Ramona. A handmade mask costs CHF 14.50.

Heindle and Elsener are convinced of their second mainstay. “With these white surgical masks you are scared to death,” says Heindle. The couple is certain: a little color makes the whole situation more bearable.

For Joey Heindle, however, it is clear – as soon as television appearances and stage shows are possible again, he would like to concentrate entirely on his career as a singer. «I don’t want to make reality TV anymore. At the most dance show, action shows and quiz shows. »

Heindle is currently working on his music and is also preparing for the program “Ninja Warrior Germany: Celebrity Special 2020”. The days of the RTL jungle camp or “Big Brother” are finally over for him. “I want to devote myself entirely to music.”
