Washington: A car crashed into a vehicle belonging to the security department of US President Joe Biden’s motorcade. The incident took place on Sunday at his campaign headquarters in Delaware.
The accident happened forty meters away from Biden’s vehicle. The incident took place on Sunday night at 8.09 local time. Security personnel immediately put Biden in another vehicle and removed him from the spot.
The driver of the car that caused the accident was taken into custody. The security personnel then inspected the area. A White House official told the news agency that Biden and his wife are safe. He also clarified that there is no other mystery in the incident.
