Jockey Saif Ahmed Al Mazrouei Wins 120 km Endurance Race at Emirates International Endurance Village

Jockey Saif Ahmed Al Mazrouei, riding “Beaulio Quassillo” for MRM Stables, won the title of the 120 km open endurance race, which was organized by the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba this morning under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Office.

The race was held in cooperation with the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, at the conclusion of the Abu Dhabi Endurance Festival, with 3 races, starting with the women’s race for a distance of 100 km, then the Sheikh Zayed bin Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Cup race for the private stables, for a distance of 100 km as well.

The champion, Al Mazrouei, was crowned champion, achieving 4:20:32 hours, with an average speed of 27.64 km/hour, and the second came to the horsewoman, Maitha Mohammed Al Qubaisi, riding “Castlebar Gatsby” for “F3” Stables, achieving 4:21:34 hours, with an average speed of 27.53. km/hour, and thirdly, the knight Mansour Khamis Muhammad, riding the horse “Amira” also for the “F3” stables, achieving 4:21:35 hours, with an average speed of 27.52 km/hour.

The winners of the first three places were crowned by His Excellency Muslim Al Ameri, Director General of the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba, Mohammed Al Hadhrami, Director of Events at the Village, Abdullah Al Naqbi, Director of Marketing and Events Department at the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, Abdul Rahman Al Rumaithi, General Supervisor of the Village, and Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of the His Highness Sheikh Mansour Racing Festival.
