The Brooklyn kid loves Spongebob SquarePants. So crazy, in fact, that he ordered a huge amount of Spongebob ice creams that were neatly delivered shortly afterwards to his aunt’s house.

Noah’s 37-year-old mother, who has two other children and studies, couldn’t just cough up the amount her little offspring had spent. Amazon did not want to take back the ice creams and refund the money. Fortunately, a fellow student of the mother’s class stepped into the breach for her. 33-year-old Kate Schloss started a crowdfunding campaign and revealed, among other things, that little Noah had accidentally bought 51 boxes with a total of 918 ice creams.

It didn’t take long for her to recoup the money through the crowdfunding page. And even more: she raised $ 5,745. “Thank you very much,” the woman writes. “I will put the money into Noah’s upbringing and school career.”
