With Alexander Nübel, one of the greatest German goalkeeper talents has decided to switch to FC Bayern – and thus competes with Manuel Neuer. The national coach is skeptical about the decision.
Football Association coach Joachim Löw sees the change from goalkeeper Alexander Nübel (23) from the Bundesliga club Schalke 04 to record champions Bayern Munich critical. “Basically, I am a supporter of young players getting as many shares of the game as possible. Nübel’s move to Munich on July 1st had become official at the beginning of the year. The keeper had refused the Royal Blues’ offer to extend the contract. At Bayern, Nübel probably has to be the German national team captain Manuel Neuer let go first.
