GRONINGEN – In daylight you can clearly see the impact of the German tanker that hit the Gerrit Krolbrug in Groningen in the night from Friday to Saturday. Due to the late hour, few people were around, but scooter driver Jesse Wiers (21) will not soon forget his nighttime ride. “I was almost at the end of the lane on the bridge when the enormous blow came suddenly.”
