This Saturday, April 6, in the Saint-Roch church in Paris, the funeral of businessman Jean-Yves Le Fur took place, unjustly lost to pancreatic cancer at the age of 59. Among the relatives who came to pay him a last tribute, Maïwenn, of course, but also Karen Murder, whose life he also shared.

And for good reason: it was on this day that the funeral of businessman Jean-Yves Le Fur, passed away at the age of 59, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. To accompany him on his final journey, countless celebrities and friends made the trip. Among them, Marina Foïs, Laetitia Casta, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Marie Gillain, Virginie Ledoyen, Gilles Lellouche, Nicolas Bedos, Luc Besson and even Anthony Delon and his daughter Liv.

During his life, Jean-Yves Le Fur illuminated the lives of many people. And the hearts of some. The model Karen Mulder, star of the catwalks in the 1980s and 1990s and particularly known thanks to her recovery of the title I Am What I Am in 2002, was part of it. She was also present with his daughter Anna at the funeral of the businessman, recognizable thanks to her blonde mane despite the thick sunglasses she wore on her nose. Not far from Maïwenn, actress, director and ex-wife of the deceased with whom she had a son Diego.

It was devastated and in tears that Maïwenn appeared in the Saint-Roch church. Very affected by the departure of the one she still nicknamed “the love of [sa] vie“, the 47-year-old filmmaker had difficulty holding back her tears on the coffin of the one she loved so much, a coffin that she also wanted to carry as shown in the moving images of the funeral in our slideshow.

Diego, their 20 year old son, was also present to support his mother in pain. The young man was even comforted by Karen Mulder herself who came to take him in her arms and kiss him tenderly. A long process of mourning begins, a journey in which all those close to Jean-Yves Le Fur will certainly be able to support each other.
