KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) strengthened by 3.80% in the last week or from 23-27 November 2020. The increase in the JCI also encouraged foreign net buy action against a number of big cap companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
Foreigners recorded a net buy of Rp 413 billion in all markets. this whole week
Quoting RTI data, foreign investors are diligent in collecting two state-owned stocks that are driving the index.
Foreigners recorded the largest net buy in shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) IDR 1.46 trillion. Within a week, BBRI’s share price shot up 6.22% to Rp 4,270 at the closing of the stock exchange last Friday. BBRI’s total trading volume for a week reached 1.03 billion with a total transaction value of IDR 4.37 trillion.
Foreigners are also diligent in pursuing shares of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) IDR 1.04 trillion. TLKM shares also shot 7.45% to Rp 3,460 in a week. The total trading volume of TLKM’s shares reached 1.36 billion with a transaction value of IDR 4.57 trillion.

Foreigners also collect shares of PT Super Energy Tbk (SURE) IDR 556 billion. SURE shares also rose 4.27% to Rp 2,930 per share in the week. The total trading volume of SURE shares reached 547 million with a transaction value of Rp 691 billion.
